It wouldn't be the first time I would listen to a song without understanding a single word. Still it would catch my attention. Still it would ask me to hear it on repeat. Melody, musicality and rhythm would have me wrapped around its fingers. And I would gladly concede. If conceding was ever a feared battle in the past it didn't feel as such. I couldn't help to feel the notes gently lingering around me. Moving slowly, up and down. And around. Maybe I just felt it too much if there is such a thing as feeling somehting too much. But such is the power music has.
It came to me while watching Never ending summer (chinese drama). Had to finish the series to look up that song that popped up here and there and left such a lingering feeling. Soundtracks have this amazingness. I played it several times without even knowing the lyrics. Two or three days later I decided I wanted to know what the lyrics meant.
I would naively say this song is not about me. This song does not translate how I feel at the moment. I am not melancholic or heartbroken. And although we always find something we relate to in so many songs, maybe, just maybe it's just healing power. Something ethereal. "Me, myself and I, and uneasy version of myself."
